Meet your Emcee: Miguel Esparza is a renowned Spanish-language play-by-play broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bulls. Born and raised in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, Esparza developed a passion for sports and broadcasting at a young age. His big break came when he started calling games for various Chicago teams, leveraging his bilingual skills to connect with the city’s diverse fan base. Miguel was also a Sports and News Anchor at WBBM Chicago. 

Community Engagement: Actively participates in MLB community events, mentors young broadcasters, and engages with fans through social media.
Awards and Recognition: Winner of broadcaster of the year in Michigan 2023, Emmy nominated for Beisbol y Mas youtube show. His viral calls have garnered millions of impressions, and he has become a beloved figure in Chicago sports broadcasting.
